High School Program

The Encinal Yacht Club High School Sailing Program is for sailors in grades 8-12 wanting to sharpen their sailing skills throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Participants in the program attend regular practices at EYC and several weekend regattas around the Bay Area and Southern California. The regatta's are run by the Pacific Interscholastic Sailing Association (PCISA).
PICSA Regatta Schedule

Currently in our 16th year of High School Sailing, Encinal has had 29 sailors move on to College Sailing in schools around the country. Of those 29, 10 are currently active, 19 have graduated, and 12 have been captain of their teams!

High Schools Currently Participating at EYC

The EYC Jr Sailing Program works in partnership with a number of East Bay High Schools who have teams or clubs that participate in the Interscholastic Sailing Association(ISSA). Be prepared to do a lot of sailing, as we have a practice or regatta nearly every weekend during the season, including many travel regattas beyond just the Bay Area. Please contact the Director for more information or ideas on how to start your own team!
