Race & Dock Party
The Encinal Regatta, formerly the 2nd Half Opener, is one of the
marquee events of the YRA Racing Season! The race includes divisions for
everyone: PHRF Boats, Sport Boats, One-Design Fleets, Multihulls,
Non-Spinnaker Boats, and even a division for those that sail
short-handed! The Encinal Regatta is a fun weekend of racing, plus a
fantastic party for skippers, crew, and family, hosted by the Encinal
Yacht Club on Saturday afternoon and evening. But that's not all.
Skipper's and crew's families are invited to the Encinal for the day to
enjoy the Encinal pool, with refreshments for everyone, especially kids.

Post Race Cocktails
Wine, beer, and cocktails will be served all afternoon for Encinal
Regatta crew and families. Drinks can be bought at the Barge that will
be located on the docks and at the Tiki Bar located next to the pool.
Saturday Dinner
Saturday dinner options with include a Mexican and a
Japanese food stations. with Fish Tacos meal, Chile Verde Tacos, or a
Grilled Vegetable Fajitas. The Japanese station will feature Poke Tacos,
Miso Grilled Salmon, and Teriaki Chicken.
Games and Competitions for Skippers & Crew
Get your crew in shape so they're ready to compete in our paddle
board and kayak races on Saturday afternoon and a spinnaker packing
contest as well. Prizes, from our sponsors, will be awarded for the
competition winners.
Sunday Breakfast
Coffee will be served starting at 8:00am and a Breakfast Buffet will be open from 8:30am - 10:00am
Sunday Race
We finish the weekend with a low-key race in the Estuary. Enjoy
racing in the calm conditions of the Estuary, perfect t-shirt racing
weather. We're encouraging skippers to take Encinal Juniors along for
the race.
