Encinal.org is the primary source of information for our club with the most detailed and up to date and information. The website also houses ongoing rules, guidelines and club documents.

The Signal Flag is a timely, prospective weekly news alert that introduces news, events and opportunities to get involved, with links to full details at Encinal.org. IMPORTANT: Read publication deadlines below!

Your news or event may also be shared on social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram). Social posts may include an image, typically with the narrative in the body of the post, with links to Encinal.org where relevant for full details or registration.

Note: All new items are subject to GM approval

GUIDELINES

• Your news or event will be posted to the Encinal Yacht Club website
• A short introduction to your news or event will be included in the Signal Flag for up to two weeks. After two weeks, it will be removed. If relevant, it will remain on Encinal.org
• Signal Flag posts include:
  
  • A headline describing the news item
  • 2-3 sentences of descriptive text

  • A link to encinal.org for full detailed text

  • Date and time (if relevant) 
  • One single image 
  • No external artwork be accepted: all artwork will be designed by Signal Flag editors

SIGNAL FLAG DEADLINES

• Signal Flag distributed every Monday at 6am
• Tuesday prior, all new items are due by 6pm
• Wednesday prior, draft for review is sent to submitters
• Saturday prior, final draft distributed
