USCGA Boating Safety Class
The Encinal YC is hosting a USCGA Boating Safety Class. This beginner boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete About Boating Safely. Learn more about the

Tito Rivano
Members of the Encinal YC are sad to announce that Tito Rivano passed away on Dec. 17th. He was a fixture in the local sailing community and around the Encinal YC. He was a boat builder and marine carpenter extraordinaire and a very knowledgeable sailer. Tito will be greatly missed. (More)
Breakfast is Now Served at the Club On Sundays
Breakfast will be served on Sundays from 9am - 2pm. The menu includes various egg dishes, omelets, and pancakes and french toast. (More)

Safety at Sea Seminar
A 4 hour Safety at Sea seminar will be held at the Encinal YC on March 1st. Moderated by Chuck Hawley and featuring experienced ocean racers presenting the topics, this seminar will cover safety issues for those planning on racing in the Gulf of the Farallones this summer. (More)
